Columbia-bred soft rock superstars Hootie & The Blowfish are hitting the road again.

On Nov. 6, the band announced its summer 2024 tour, Summer Camp with Trucks. Tour dates run from May to September of next year, when the band will play together on the road for the first time since their 2019 "Group Therapy Tour," where they played three nights at Colonial Life Arena.

This time around, the band will stop for one night in Columbia — their only S.C. tour stop — at Colonial Life Arena on Aug. 29 at 7 p.m.

Tickets are available on Ticketmaster and go on sale Nov. 10, according to the band's website.

The tour comes on the heels of lead singer Darius Rucker's latest solo country album, "Carolyn's Boy," which reached the top of country charts with the single, "Beers and Sunshine."

Though the band hasn't consistently put out new music in decades, Hootie & The Blowfish still find time to play shows across the Palmetto State, particularly in Columbia, where they met while attending the University of South Carolina.

The Summer Camp with Trucks Tour will feature Georgia-based Collective Soul and Greenville's Edwin McCain; tickets go on sale Friday, Nov. 10, at 10 a.m., according to the band's Instagram.
