Eric's San Jose on Garners Ferry Road will close Thursday after being sold.Â
Today — Thursday, Dec. 22 — is the last day Eric's San Jose will be open at its longtime Garners Ferry Road location.
Owner Eric Leon has sold the property to some developers who plan to build a cellular store and other retail shops, he told Free Times.
Staff were reportedly given the news yesterday. The Mexican family restaurant's website and Facebook page have been taken down.
However, Leon says he plans to reopen the restaurant in a smaller facility in the same general area. However, he didn't specify an opening date.
"I'm going to basically move over to a space, another location," he said. "I'm working out a lease.
