Groucho's deli is an instituation in Columbia for great clubs & subs. Bruce has done an incredible job with the business over the years franchising to different areas of SC & NC so everyone can enjoy the great food abroad. As tony the tiger would say " GREATTTTTTTTTTTTT" -

What a great read. I would probably not be here today were it not for my parents many dates at Villa Tronco. Nice piece!

I've loved Groucho's since I was a boy. We lived in Shandon and we would ride the bus down to 5 points and get some lunch and ice cream for the trip back. Unfortunately though all of these little franchises that have popped up all over Columbia have IMO tarnished my memory of what an Apollo from Groucho's was. The franchises look like they were set up over the weekend much like a college freshman unpacking his room for the semester. Looks like it could be packed up and closed overnight, and the quality of the food isn't even close to what it was at the original location years ago.
