The Carolinas Humane Society as having the Best Pet Shop because they stock only well researched items that are sure to be healthy and safe, and because all of the profits generated from their sales are given back to our community to assist homeless dogs and cats. This is a remarkable agency and a great service to Columbia.

Social Columbia is a very sociable method of communication. Love it!

PETS, Inc. The Carolinas Humane Society should certainly win for Best Pet Shop. They have a great selection of safe and healthy supplies and the staff is always available to help you make the best selection for your dog or cat. The food they sell- Precise-has made all the difference in the world with my dog's skin problems. This is a wonderful organization that does so much with so little (shoe string budget). As a community we should all support this organization, shop at their nonprofit pet store and recognize them with the Best Pet Shop award.

Pets Inc. has an excellent pet shop, handle many adoptions and has an excellent, helpful staff. They do a wonderful job making humans and pets happy.

Best Pet Shop, PETS, Inc., West Columbia, because they carry only foods and items that are pet-safe. I can trust their choices. And, their procedes go back into the adoption center which takes in and adopts out close to two thousand dogs and cats every year! WOW! Nobody else in Columbia is doing all of this, that I know of. They deserve the acknowledgement!

I second Tessa Kellers nomination for the best Pet Store as PETS, Inc. They're a great organization and have done wonderful things for the unwanted and abused animals in our community with very limited resources. They need everyones support.

PETS Inc is a wonderful organization- the largest “no kill” rescue in South Carolina. They help thousands of homeless animals each year and in turn do a tremendous service for the community. Their pet store is non-profit and all proceeds go right back into helping homeless animals, and their prices are more than reasonable—cheaper than other pet stores in the area.

As store manager for a non-profit thrift store of Salvation Army; I can fully appreciate the difficulty PETS, INC. endures in meeting the needs of many with few funds. PETS, INC is exceptional in their care to provide safe and loving homes for rescued animals. I myself have obtained three pets from them in the past 10-years who became an integral part of our lives. PETS, INC as does Salvation Army, it depends strongly on our community’s donations to serve the same community. PETS, INC. is defianately deserving of BEST PET SHOP!!!!
