I am studying in the field of psychiatric recovery after spending some years working in that field. I have also worked for many years as a performing artist. I am so very glad to see artists using their talents proactively, helping advocacy groups educate the public on this very important issue. I certainly hope it has a ripple effect and inspires others to do the same. I believe there is great unused potential for art to contribute to the health of society; Nye has explored that freshly, and I am grateful to him.

I am a nursing student focusing on psychiatric/mental health nursing this semester. As I have learned that the mentally ill is one of the most underserved populations in our community, I am impressed as well as glad that Nye has chosen to use his creative talents to offer more awareness of so important of an issue.
