I am dismayed that you would even suggest "it’s the perfect chance to royally f!k up her garden. (Note: We don’t actually recomend this.)" This promotes disrespect for people who are essentially giving their time for the operation of our city.
Even if I disagree with anything council does (who doesn't), it does not warrant physical harm on that person nor their property. The grief and invective these public officials put up with cannot possibly be worth whatever stipend comes with their service. It's a shame that civic service is derided throughout our culture; no wonder so few quality people will consider it.
