Why is there's no one is charged for the accident?
Please check cell phone record of both parties

when an investigation takes this long with a gov. official it sounds like a cover up? If it happened at an intersection with traffic lights, wouldn't the timers on the lights tell whose at fault? Also, was s.benjamin fully alert and sober since he had been celebrating his victory all night and perhaps in the early morning hours? Also, wasn't there serveral witnesses at the scene which could ended the investigation last week?

If he was white, the blacks would be raising hell for his noose. Something really stinks about this accident and the cops lack of "brightness" is a joke. Hope the lady lives and sues his butt.

Was he drinking and driving? Hmmm...the topic always seems to not be mentioned in everyone's coverage. .He was, after all, just elected mayor. If that was me, I think I would partake in some after hours party too. They are just trying to figure out the best way to hide it.

If there is a serious injury to the other party, the investigations ALWAYS take time - unless the other person, prior to losing consciousness, professes guilt. Even then, any law enforcement agency worth its salt will research a traffic accident thoroughly whic rendered a citizen close to death. And, race - along with political affiliation - has no bearing on a person's ability (or inability) to get into a car accident. Even if Steve had been driving without daytime runners (which Mercedes were among the first to install, so I find it hard to believe he was driving without lights at all, unless he found a way to turn them off, then that would make him a real friggin' idiot), he would still see the person turning right in front of him - perhaps illegally. I had a similar experience happen to me today and I concluded that my accident markings would have been exact to those of Benjamin's (althought I play no role in the investigation). If someone was turning onto Gervais to the right - in particular, turning into the INNER lane, instead of the closer, outer lane, and were hit by an oncoming car, the damage would mirror that of the damage shown on Benjamin's car - right side absorbing most of the shock and damage, left side largely out of it. Of course, let's see what the accident investigation says...
