thanks a lot cromartie. you could have announced your retirement when coble did, or earlier, since you have been under investigation for months. i guess he didn't worry about the cost of a special election for just one seat since he does not pay his taxes anyway. a fitting way to end a political career.

If the Supremes rule in favor of an April 6 election, I guess the issue is dead because any appeal to the U. S. Justice Dept (run by the Left) will of course favor the city's current stance that notice of an election as required by SC state law is meaningless. What a circus. I am sure glad I do not live in Columbia. They have a nightmare of a future with a council majority who no matter who gets on council believes that no budget line item is not to be looted if there is a scintilla of money in it for the taking. Don't believe me? Check back in 10 years and see what has happened in that tragic decade.
