What was Mr. Judy's complaint? Volume, or jealousy? Some people will kill something decent and good for the slightest reason. The bands will survive though because they love what they do. Many people don't understand the power of music just as some people only see the MonaLisa as just a picture.. Sad but true!!

I am actually working on a solution to this problem by providing affordable rehearsal space here in Columbia. Please check out www.themillsc.com for more information and updates as we get closer to open.

That is the absolute meanest thing I've ever heard of someone doing...
I cannot believe Mr. Judy spent time and energy aiming to hurt people.
Karma rules..what comes around goes around.

As a former resident of the Hollywood-Rose Hill neighborhood, and former neighbor of the complainant, I would like to note for the record that Clif Judy is a dick.
Next tasks for Clif:
- Shutting down Owens Field (noisy airplanes, unsafe!)
- Canceling home football games (noisy fans, bands unsafe!)
- Continuing to annoy his neighbors with lengthy, useless diatribes in the HRH newsletter about the aforementioned safety and noise issues.
- Furtively masturbating while composing letters to the editor of the State.

What I find ironic is that the complaintant is a real estate developer. He's made a career of taking land and building things that inconvenience and annoy the neighbors. Have you ever heard anyone say any of the following? "I sure wish a developer would build a strip mall there." or "That empty field really bothers me. We need a subdivision of cookie cutter houses instead." or "It sure would be be nice if someone would plow under the woods out back and put in a SuperWalmart." I didn't think so.
The guy is more than happy to intrude on others for profit but when the shoe is on the other foot and he suffers a slight inconvenience he wants the government to reshape the world as he likes it. There's irony there as well because he decries the use of government and claims it is ineffective yet he greases the wheels of government as a developer and he goes crying to it when the music is too loud.
