I made a mistake in my previous comment here. A lustrum in republican Rome was for an elected term of 4 years. Bob served 5, not 4, of them. How much better would Columbia be if he had been mayor the past 8 years? After all, Mayor Bob and others picked John Edwards for POTUS.
