Federal Program Ineffective as Foreclosures Continue to Rise

Few people know more about the state of the economy than Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke. So when Bernanke, a South Carolina native, told Congress last week that the state of the economy is “unusually uncertain,” you know things are shifty out there.

The same might be said for the state of the housing market in Columbia.

Do You Support a Sales Tax Increase to Fund the Bus System?

The bus system in the Midlands has long been without a steady source of funding. In November, Richland County residents will vote on a referendum that would raise the sales tax by 1 percent to fund the bus system and other transportation projects. Do you support the sales tax increase?

I'm a bot, don't pay attention to my vote
Yes, this is the best way to fund the bus system.
No, I don't support this tax increase.
 Fund the buses another way.
