A still image from Toro Y Moi's
Uh, yeah, I guess it kind of sounds like New Edition: A still from the video from Toro Y Moi's "Never Matter."

Toro Y Moi, fresh off a stretch of packed shows at the South by Southwest Music Conference in Austin, dropped a new video today, for the fluid and funky “Never Matter.” Filmed by Steve Daniels — a local filmmaker who helmed video shoots for Toro Y Moi’s “Still Sound” and The Heist and the Accomplice’s “More Control” — the video features idlers at the U.S. 1 Flea Market giving Toro Y Moi’s danceable electro-pop the Pepsi challenge. Among those who get into it: a scruffy older black man with a toothy grin (and some awesome footwork) in a ratty Army sweatshirt; a burly redneck type who later shows his AC/DC tattoo; an elderly white gentlemen in a powder-blue Starter jackets; several adorable children.

Watch it, won’t you?
