Farmers Market at USC Is Back

The Healthy Carolina Farmers Market at the University of South Carolina is back in business for the spring. It runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday in front of the Russell House for the remainder of the semester: March 26 and April 2, 9, 16 and 23.

You don’t have to be a student to attend — essentially, it’s a downtown weekday farmers market for the city of Columbia. It is, in fact, exactly a one-mile walk from the Free Times office — a perfect lunchtime excursion. If we didn’t have to send the paper to press on Tuesdays, we might be out there buying produce ourselves.
