Donuts and Coffee Join in Holy Matrimony

Let’s be real, coffee and donuts go great together.

And although it’s taken them more than 60 years to do so, Dunkin’ Donuts has finally decided to combine the duo to make its new Coffee Creme Donuts, which will be the first donuts made with Dunkin’s Original Blend Coffee. The Glazed Coffee Creme Donut has a glazed yeast shell filled with coffee buttercream and is covered in a light drizzle of chocolate icing. The Coffee, Creme & Sugar Donut also has a yeast shell filled with coffee buttercream, but is instead topped with powdered sugar.

They both, as it were, sound delicious and are only available for a limited time at participating restaurants.

The chain also added French Vanilla and Hazelnut Swirls to its menu, which the company describes as “a sweeter, creamier take on the brand’s most popular coffee flavors.” The two new variations are permanent additions.

So much coffee, so many donuts, so little time…
