Lexington folk love local produce, and in order to connect buyers with farmers, the Town of Lexington runs a market through the warmer months. The first one of the 2014 season began June 7, and runs from 9 a.m. to noon every Saturday through Sept. 27, excluding July 5. Over 20 vendors will be out selling everything from soap to squash.
“The Town of Lexington’s Farmers Market is a wonderful opportunity to support our local famers and artisans who provide the freshest produce, nursery items, art, jewelry, homemade soaps, candles and woodworking,” says Jennifer Dowden, the events and media coordinator for the town.
The market, located at 205 E. Main Street, also known as Lexington Square Park.
