On March 4, IHOP will continue its 9th annual National Pancake Day fundraiser. Restaurants around the country will serve guests a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes from 7a.m. to 10p.m. in an effort to raise donations for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals program, which has worked to raise money for medical assistance since the early 80's. This year's goal is $3 million, and all donations made in Columbia will benefit the Palmetto Health Children's Hospital. To date, IHOP has raised $13 million for charity and given away 22 million pancakes to patrons.
