They don’t get the same level of media attention as the Gamecock football team, but the University of South Carolina women’s basketball team is winning some big games, including a 68-59 victory last night over No. 9 Kentucky at Colonial Life Arena in Columbia. Led by Coach Dawn Staley, the team — ranked No. 10 nationally — is 15-1 overall and 3-0 in the SEC.
